I gave them a quick ring back after ignoring the call initially. It was some sort of robot saying it was the Financial Welfare Group. Seemed really dodgy to me, wouldn’t put my trust in that.

Someone rang me saying they were from the national debt line, but I’m not so sure it was legit.

This number called me twice over the span of two days. When I returned the call, the person said they were from some kind of national welfare organisation. I've put a block on it now, but I'm sure they'll just get in touch again using another number.

This person said they were from the national debt helpline, claiming they’d got my info from somewhere (hard to make out because of their strong accent) and said I apparently have a few unsecured debts I’m paying off, which sounded odd. When I asked them to take my number off their list, they insisted it wasn’t a sales call. But as soon as I brought up GDPR, the line just went dead.

They already had my address and name, but still made me go over everything again. Then they said my address wasn’t in their system and just cut the call off. Strange behaviour.

Everytime I pick up, the call just drops. They keep ringing but nothing happens when I answer.
