Beware, I got a call saying I owed money I don’t, total scam. Don’t bother with it!

They've been ringing me off and on for the last few weeks. I picked up today, but no one said a word. Quite strange, really.

They called and insisted on talking to me by my full name and mentioned I supposedly owed some money. I just said goodbye and ended the call. Pretty sure my bank would contact me directly if there was any issue with payments.

Got a call from someone using my partner’s last name, which isn’t mine at all. They were saying I owed money on some credit card or unsecured debt. Told them I don’t even have a credit card or any loans, and then they just hung up straight away. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Somebody called and said they were after my debts, sounded fishy to me.

I got a call from someone saying I had debt troubles and they could sort it out for me. They sounded like they were just reading off a script. They kept pushing an IVA as the solution. They had my full name and said a creditor passed my details onto them. Total scam, don’t trust it. These dodgy people are buying info and trying to scam you badly. If you hand over any details, they’ll rip you off for everything you’ve got. Absolute muppets.
