I was looking into getting a loan when somehow these lot got hold of my phone number. They rang me up claiming to be brokers who could help me secure it. They took my card details and said the service was free for the first 30 days, then £5.99 a month. The bloke told me I'd get an email to finish the application, but nothing ever showed up. When I rang them the next day, a different person picked up and barely let me get a word in, constantly asking if I'd found them on Facebook or other social media. When I asked them to delete my card info and cancel the service, the guy claimed they were a charity and then just hung up on me. Proper dodgy!

Someone rang claiming to be from a certain company, but it turned out that wasn’t true. If they really worked for them, a quick check would have confirmed it. The company they mentioned is one I used to do business with, and when I ended things with them, I made it clear they shouldn’t contact me anymore.
