They took my card information and mentioned that I wouldn’t be charged for their services for the first thirty days, after which it would be £5.99. He assured me I’d receive an email to finalise the application, but nothing ever arrived. The following day, I tried reaching out to them again, and a different person picked up. They barely let me get a word in edgewise, constantly interrupting and bombarding me with questions about whether I found them on platforms like Facebook. When I asked to have my card details deleted and to cancel whatever this was, he insisted they were a charity organisation and promptly hung up on me.Facebook4 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to represent a certain company, but it turns out that's not the case at all. If he had genuinely been a representative, I would have expected a quick check with the company to verify his identity. Interestingly enough, the company he mentioned was one I used to do business with, and they were specifically told to refrain from contacting me after I ceased trading with them.
