Got a call on my phone. It’s registered with the TPS as well. Didn’t know the number, so I ignored it. Tried ringing them back later but the call wouldn’t go through. Blocked the number after. Searched the number online and ended up on this site.

Got a spam call from a lady called Amanda claiming she’s with Transient Expert Guidance. I’m on the no call list, so I reported it to the TPS since I’m supposed to be off their radar from these "have you been in an accident" calls. The voice on the other end isn’t even a real person - she just says hello, and whatever you reply, she just goes “Thanks for confirming” and hangs up. Sounds like it’s all a recorded message, no actual person involved! The TPS advised me to report it to the ICO, which I’m doing today.

Without a doubt, it was some sort of robotic call. I mentioned "Oh no! My TERRIBLE car crash!" and the reply was "Thanks for confirming. We’ll take your number off our list." I reckon now my number’s marked as active and I’ll be getting loads of calls. Seems like they’re just collecting numbers anyhow.

They called my cell so I just didn’t pick up. Then right after, the same number rang my landline which I did answer. They started talking about an accident claim and I just ended the call straight away.

Received a rather odd call from someone claiming they were aware I’d been involved in a mishap with Translink, the Northern Irish bus service, and apparently it wasn’t my fault. They went on about removing my details from their records, which sounded fishy to me. I've since blocked the number. I totally get that people need to earn a living, but isn’t it a bit dodgy to assert they’ve got information about an accident that never occurred? It raises a serious red flag when they’re digging for local intel under such dubious pretences. With no incidents on record, it’s quite troubling that they deemed it appropriate to reach out in the first place.

Got a call saying someone told them I’d been in an accident which wasn’t my fault. A really nasty woman rang me from this number, disturbing me at work while I was with a student. When I asked how she got my details, she just said “thanks for confirming” and hung up. Some of us are just trying to do an honest job, put in the effort and get on with life. If I had an accident and wanted legal advice, I’m fully capable of handling it myself. I don’t need some pushy legal shark hassling me. Honestly, you lot are just as bad - stealing from others, filling your pockets, all while pretending to be helpful. Sounds like one of those car accident tricks, the only way they could’ve found my number is from official records, probably a data leak from the benefits office. I got a really abrupt woman calling from this number, cutting me off while I was helping a student at work.
