They even wanted me to do a credit check and hand over all details of any store cards or credit cards I’ve had. The whole thing felt off, they clearly didn’t understand some basic legal stuff. Initially, I was talking to a woman with an Indian accent who then passed me onto a “senior advisor” who was apparently sitting right next to her. Then after chatting to him, he went off to ask his “senior advisor” about something. I ended the call when he started asking about what bank account I held and if I could get a credit card and keep him updated on the outcome.
