Initially, I was in conversation with an Indian woman, who then handed me over to what they called a “senior advisor,” who oddly seemed to be right next to her. After a brief discussion, he claimed he needed to consult his “senior advisor” as well. The concerns escalated when he began probing about my bank account and whether I could apply for a credit card to share the outcome with him. I swiftly ended the call-it all felt very suspicious.
