Received a rather cheeky call today from someone claiming they had a complimentary service to help wipe away my so-called debts. I entertained him for a bit while he went on about my name popping up on some dubious government database, alleging I had a mountain of unpaid debts and was on the brink of legal action. Curiosity got the better of me, so I inquired about these supposed debts, and he rather clumsily asked how much I owed. Being fully aware that I’m as debt-free as a squirrel in autumn, I confidently replied with a cheeky "Absolutely nothing! Zilch! Not a bean! Now do me a favour and hop it!" As he stammered for a clever comeback, I promptly ended the call. What a jolly good laugh that was!
