Got a call from some firm claiming they're all about debt management and that the government just wiped out 60% of debts now. I told the bloke straight up he wasn’t allowed to cold call me, but he kept insisting he had the go-ahead since he's helping with debt stuff. Then, out of nowhere, he just hung up on me. Quite funny really!

I received a dodgy call from what claimed to be HMRC. They left a recorded message stating that I was facing arrest for tax fraud unless I complied with their demands. Quite concerning, really!

They keep ringing me like loads every day. I’m pretty sure who it is but mostly I don’t pick up. Just this minute I answered and told them once more to take my number off their list. Can’t they be fined or something for this?

So, this company called Boost, which I think is the same as OVO Energy from Bristol BS1 6ED, kept ringing me to get me onto their PAYG energy plan. They tried ringing me like seven times in just one day! They said I’d shown interest through Tesco Online, but that’s rubbish because Tesco Boost is just some voucher thing, nothing to do with energy. The call quality was awful and the person on the line spoke very broken English, sounds like they might be from South East Asia or somewhere around there.

Had a call supposedly from HMRC saying I needed to urgently call back about a repayment. It sounded dodgy, so I got in touch with the real HMRC who confirmed that the number wasn't theirs and they never leave voicemails. After that, I reported it to the fraud department straight away.
