It was just a spam caller.

Caution is advised! They purport to be from the credit investigation unit, but it’s nothing but a ruse! They use a multitude of different phone numbers; I’ve had to block quite a few myself. This latest one is just another of their tricks.

They called me claiming to be from some credit firm that would help with my debt, but I don’t owe anything at all. They also said they’d received my details from some government office in Manchester, which I reckon is probably not true. I’m really fed up with them ringing me nearly every day now.

They got in touch with me to swap a four night bed and breakfast stay up in the Trossachs National Park for a couple of hours chatting about their new project. My gut says it might be one of those timeshare traps, but I'm hoping it's not and that I’m mistaken.

They rang me twice within a minute this afternoon! I couldn’t answer as I was tied up. After looking them up here, it looks like some kind of scam. I thought I had blocked the number already, but just to be safe, I’ve blocked it again.

Just got another call about consumer debt legal stuff, looked like the same kind of scam from earlier today in Manchester. I didn’t pick up, and since they left no voicemail, I called back but the number’s already blocked now.
