Guy called asking for the name of the person who pays the bill. Wouldn't give his own name or say what he wanted. When I said I needed the bill payer's name, he just said "how do I know that's right?" Told him straight up to bugger off and delete my number from wherever he had it. Then, unbelievable, he rings back within half a minute and starts asking for the company name. I hung up before he got a chance to say another word.

I got a call from some overseas call centre, they were chatting about investment stuff and claimed they got my contact from a mate who supposedly made good money investing. Seemed a bit off to me.

At first, I assumed it was just a scam, so I ended the call, but they kept calling me back over and over. They claimed my computer was running slowly and offered to sort it out. When I asked who they were representing, they said BT, but never asked for any details to verify my identity. I chatted with them briefly, but something felt off, so I told them I needed to leave. Despite that, they kept ringing and letting the phone ring forever. Definitely a dodgy call.
