Got a call from a number that seemed to be from the UK, but felt fishy right away. They were talking about problems with my phone service and trying to offer some kind of payout. It definitely seemed like a dodgy scam, probably some fake number made to look local. I didn’t waste any time and just hung up on them.

This was definitely a scam. The number looked like it was from the UK but it's actually a fake internet number pretending to be local. They rang me about phone plans and then suddenly started talking about compensation - clearly making stuff up as they go along. Best to just ignore calls like this.

When I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end, nobody said a word.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying they were from EE. They told me my mobile SIM was going to be cancelled the next day and that a new one was being sent out. They asked if I’d be home to accept it. It seemed dodgy, so I hung up and rang EE myself. They had no clue about any replacement SIM and said they’d log it as a scam. I explained I just wanted to check if anyone had ordered a new SIM on my account, but they confirmed there’d been no requests. They advised me to watch my account closely and block the number. Just a heads up to be careful!

When I picked up and said hello, there was a bit of silence before they spoke. They claimed to be calling from SKY NETWORK, so I asked what it was about. Then they just hung up on me. Seems dodgy, like a scam call. My phone had actually marked it as a scam, but I answered anyway since I was expecting a call - normally I wouldn’t bother.
