Phoned this mobile but honestly, no clue how they got the number. I barely use it myself, its just for emergencies. Even my mates don’t have it saved. Only seen the number when I switched the phone on to check the battery. No voicemail or anything.

I just got a call from 01204 920150 saying my car had been hit by another vehicle. Thing is, I don’t even drive, so that sounded off to me. When I mentioned maybe it was my husband who’d been in an accident, she suddenly got annoyed and ended the call. She spoke with a Liverpudlian accent, if that helps.

This number rings me almost daily, even though I’ve blocked it loads of times. The only thing that changes is one digit in the number. I’ve never been involved in any accident, but they keep calling and even know my name and names of family members. I’ve reported it on this site quite a few times to help others avoid falling for the scam. Sometimes it’s an accident scam, other times they pretend it’s about broadband, but it comes from the same or very similar number.

Got a call from someone saying it was about a car damage claim! Told them my car nor anyone else's had any accidents or damage reported. They said they must’ve been given wrong info and said sorry for bothering me. At least they were polite this time, but honestly, why isn’t there something done to stop these so-called call centres?
