Just to clear things up, the number I found doesn’t belong to the Fluent Money mortgage adviser I got in touch with after a mortgage inquiry through MoneySuperMarket. I did a quick Google search on the number but it turns out the number shown there isn’t actually connected at all. Seems like those numbers aren’t linked in any way.

Somebody phoned saying they were from AXA insurance service, asking me about life insurance. When I told them I didn’t have any, the call ended suddenly with a message in an American accent saying “the number you have dialled is not in service.” Clearly, it wasn’t a real UK company, just a scammer hanging up to stop me from reporting them.

Typical scam again, this time pretending to be from Citizens Advice. I called him out right away, knowing it was a con. Funny thing is, he just dropped the call. I’m planning to report this one to Action Fraud.

Got a call I didn’t answer on my phone. Given what’s happened before, decided to just block the number straight away.

I got a call from some place calling themselves the Bolton Citizens Support Office, saying the FCA told them to check up on everyone paying off debts. Complete rubbish if you ask me. I asked them for proof and wanted their FCA registration details. Weirdly, they just cut me off! Total scam in my book.
