Some bloke with an Indian accent called saying he was from TalkTalk and claimed my internet was about to be disconnected (which seemed dodgy to me). I told him straight up he was trying to scam me and that I’d already got the police involved. He hung up on me in the middle of me speaking after I mentioned the authorities and provided them with the numbers he used. Pretty obvious con job.
