I’ve received a call from this number, and it’s definitely dodgy! When I picked up, I was greeted by a rather mechanical voice claiming to be from HMRC, saying there were issues regarding unpaid taxes. It urged me to press 1 to connect with my “case officer,” insisting that doing so would help me evade any legal trouble. It's clearly a scam, so beware!

Got a call supposedly from HMRC saying someone’s used my name fraudulently. They told me to hit button 1 to sort it out. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I usually don't pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers, so I have no idea who this might be. If it’s someone genuinely trying to get in touch, you'd think they'd leave a message, but nope, nothing at all.

Had three calls back to back from different numbers, all with pretty much the same Indian accent. I just hung up while the person was still chatting away.
