Today at 9:10 am, a guy with an Indian accent rang me sayin’ it was about a Covid-19 line. I told him to remove my number immediately. He kept askin’ why, but I just said “because I said so.” He tried again, and I gave the same reply, then he started talking more so I just ended the call and blocked him. Later on at 3:40, another call from a similar number popped up sayin’ it was the NHS. I gave the same response, told ’em to delete my number, he asked why again, I repeated myself, and then he hung up. Blocked that number straight away too.

Around 12:45pm on 08/01/2020, got a call from a guy with an African accent who said he was from the NHS. Asked if I’d had any side effects from my Covid vaccines and if I’d got my password alright. He knew my name and that I was fully vaxxed plus a recent booster. Finished by saying thanks for taking the call, then goodbye.

Scam alert! The caller claimed to be from the NHS and even knew my name. He asked if I had time for a quick chat, but I told him I’d need some proof who he was given how many scam calls are going around. He offered to share his employee number or send me an email. I said an email would be best, so I could check it was actually from the NHS domain. After a pause, he just said “Uh-huh” and then ended the call.
