Today, I received an odd call from an unfamiliar number. On the other end was a woman claiming to represent the NHS. Clearly, she was not who she pretended to be. She started rambling on about Covid and testing related to it. I didn't entertain the conversation for long and promptly ended the call.

I got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent, who was telling me all about covid booster jabs. It sounded pretty convincing since he mentioned stuff like the NHS and doctor's surgery messages. He even knew my name. But the weird bit was when he asked about life insurance at the end - that made me suspicious.

Total rip off! I barely made out what the caller was saying - their really hard-to-understand Asian accent was drowned out by loud background chatter, probably a call centre or something. They didn’t say who they were right away and started asking about my vaccine status, but mixed up the details big time. It only clicked when I asked why they were ringing, and they said it was about some government payback for vaccine side effects - I ended the call sharpish. Best to steer clear of these folks!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the NHS Royal Free about my covid jabs. They said my doctor’s surgery had passed on my details and asked if I’d got a letter with a barcode that I was supposed to have from them. They were trying to gather info from me to send the letter, but I never actually got anything like that. Looks like a scam to me.

A lady called saying she was doing a survey about the 19 vaccine. She asked for my permission and phone number to join in, saying she was from my local health trust. I told her I hadn't agreed to anything. When she tried to talk about my vaccinations, I asked her to prove this wasn’t some scam by giving me the date when I had the shots. After that, she just hung up on me.

Got a call supposedly from the NHS, but don’t be fooled, it’s just nasty scammers trying to get your personal info for dodgy reasons. Best thing to do is ignore and block them straight away. When you pick up, say nothing - after a few seconds the call will hang up on its own because they use a program that waits to hear you talk. If you stay quiet, it ends automatically. Definitely mark it as a scam and report it wherever you can. Stay safe and don’t engage!

Just got a call from this number claiming to be from the NHS covid validation team. They asked if I’d had my jabs and whether I was satisfied with the local Covid Centre. Then they probed about where I usually went, which they should already have on file if they were legit. After that, they tried to get info about my private healthcare and life insurance, which I refused to share. Be careful with these calls and don’t hand over your personal info. They sounded convincing at first, had a proper smooth way of chatting.
