Looks like it could be a dodgy scam to me.

I got a voicemail from someone saying they were Matin Dales Surveyors or something like that, but I’m not looking for any surveyor services at all.

So it turned out to not be a spam call at all. It was actually from Martin Dales, who handles stuff for my building's insurance firm. They were just organising a time for the surveyor to come round and have a look at the damage I’d flagged up.
