I got a call from this number which I don’t recognise at all. They didn’t bother to leave any voicemail or explain who they were or what they wanted. So, I’m guessing it wasn’t anything important. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Received a couple of calls earlier today from someone claiming to be from British Gas, wanting to chat with me, the one who handles the bills. Unfortunately, I wasn't at home, so my wife answered instead. I've got a strong suspicion they weren't actually representing British Gas, and I've since blocked the number just to be safe!
