Earlier today I got a call from the number 0120486668, which I found out is for a nearby restaurant. The person on the line, a woman named Alice with a strong accent, claimed to be calling from 3 and was trying to slash my monthly phone bill by 45%. Since I’m not tied to any contract, I asked her what she assumed I was paying each month, and she just ended the call straight away. Definitely not great for the restaurant to have their number used like this.
