Some woman with an accent called me saying she was from British Gas, telling me about some updates and that I'd be sent some documents. She asked for my postcode, but I told her I don’t actually own the place, it’s council housing, plus info about the boiler. Then she just said alright, goodbye and ended the call.

Out of nowhere I got a call and they were pushing me hard to buy something.

I saw the call and recognised it as a telemarketer, so I just let it ring out. The previous comment mentioned being pressured into a sale, so looks like the warning was spot on!
