Got a call from someone saying they were from Curry’s or PC World. Since my number’s on the TPS list, I asked where they got it from. The woman said something about a ‘motion’ call or some term like that before just hanging up on me. I reckon I’ll get a text shortly pretending to be one of my kids with a dodgy phone, asking me to ring back on another number. This kind of thing always follows random calls like that. I normally don’t pick up unknown numbers, but I was expecting a call about an enquiry, so I thought it might actually be the company I was waiting to hear from.
