I received an automated voice message claiming to be from HMRC, stating that a fraud case was lodged under my name. It really sounded off to me, and honestly, it doesn’t seem likely that HMRC would use a machine to deliver such serious news. I reckon they'd opt for a proper letter instead of a dodgy phone call.
