7 yearsGot a call claiming my internet was going to be cut off. They transferred me to some call centre in India, where a lady rattled off her usual routine. I asked her how she managed to sleep at night knowing she was scamming folks all day, and she just hung up on me. One thing that gave it away, besides the obvious con, was the phone number - it was missing a digit after the area code, only 5 instead of 6 numbers! Surely BT should be blocking these types of calls from getting through?IndiaBT7 yearsI got a call from a different number telling me my internet was going to get cut off soon. I pressed 1 and got linked to someone in a call centre who said there was an issue with my account and they were going to cancel my broadband.
