Got a call from some dodgy lot pretending to be HMRC saying there’s a tax fraud case against me. It was one of those automated messages telling me to press a button to speak to someone. Obviously, I just hung up straight away. If you press that button, you end up getting passed onto a premium number and they keep you on the line racking up charges. Definitely a scam, so watch out and block the number if you get it.
