I was searching for loan options on the internet but ended up not going ahead with it. Still, in the past day alone, I've had about 6 calls from numbers starting 01204 474110, then 101, 120, 123, and 125. No matter how often I block one, they just ring me from another. I keep saying I'm not interested but they just keep coming back. It's really annoying.

I got a call from this number about a loan I supposedly applied for online. The person on the phone spoke English really well and went through all the details about the loan. What worries me is that I ended up giving my bank sort code and account number to confirm my identity. I did say I wasn’t totally comfortable sharing that info, but he insisted he was a proper staff member and assured me my details would only be used to verify I’m who I say I am. Even though he was quite professional and reasonable, I still feel uneasy about it. I’m about to go ahead with the loan but would appreciate it if someone could confirm whether this number 01204474123 actually belongs to a legitimate loan company. Thanks.
