Got a call from some guy claiming to be Jacob Smith from BT Open Reach saying my internet had problems. When I said I’d contact BT directly if there was a problem, he got pretty rude. Told him cold calling like that isn’t legal either. Had almost the same thing happen last week; he wanted me to type a code into my computer to mess with the router. Sounds dodgy to me - looks like they're trying to get your bank info, so watch out!
