5 yearsGot a robo call saying it was from Amazon about some dodgy activity on my account, telling me to press 1 to talk to someone. I suspected it was a scam straight away, but I pressed 1 anyway. A guy with a really thick Indian accent picked up and kept calling me 'ma'am'. He was rattling on about an iPhone order costing £799.99, but I’m in the UK and don’t even have an Amazon account! I told him to hold on a sec before all the usual rubbish started, then I dropped the bomb that I had no account with Amazon. He didn’t like that and just hung up.
