5 yearsOn the 11th of November 2021, around 11:55 in the morning, I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent using the number 01204433838. She claimed to be from Amazon and told me they had frozen a payment from my account because they suspected it was fraudulent, like someone else was using my account. She suggested I needed to stop the payment by completing an online form, which involved downloading an app. I quickly ended the call, feeling it was suspicious. Right after, she rang back from 01767310224 asking why I had hung up. I was certain it was a scam since Amazon wouldn’t ring up asking to download anything or stop payments like this. When I tried calling 01204433838 back, a voice said the number wasn’t recognised.
