About a few days back, I got a call from this number saying they'd finished some pip search for me and claimed there was money ready to be sent to my bank. They asked for my bank details, but they only had an old address that was kinda right from around eleven years ago. Plus, I've never had a ppi check done since I haven’t needed any loans or mortgages for like 35 years. So, it seemed fishy to me. When I questioned what exactly they were doing, the bloke on the other end just hung up straight away.

I got calls from this number last week and twice just today, both within a few mins, but each time they dropped the call as soon as I picked up. I tried calling back from my work phone and some bloke with a northern accent answered claiming to be from a government department, asking for my name in a kinda casual way. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from this number but they just cut off straight away. When I called back, someone picked up saying it was the National Advice Centre. I asked again who it was, and they gave the same answer. However, as soon as I mentioned I’d missed their call, they dropped the line instantly! I’ve saved this number in my phone and marked it as a scam caller now.
