Someone rang up asking for the MD, I told them I wasn’t able to share that info. They said it was about compliance and some job related to the NHS, but we’ve never done anything for the NHS. While they were chatting, I looked up the number and saw it flagged as possibly a scam. They just laughed and insisted they weren’t. Kept pushing for details so I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Had this pushy woman on the line, kept asking for the Managing Director over and over. I tried offering to pass on a message or help but she just wouldn’t explain what she wanted. Pretty obvious it was some sales pitch, she refused to leave a message too.

They rang, wanting to have a word with the managing director, so I asked what it was about. She said it was regarding NHS work, but we’ve never done anything like that. When she failed to reach the MD, she then asked for a sales manager, but I said no again.

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent asking who our Managing Director was. I just said I wasn’t interested and then blocked the number.

Got a call earlier from someone wanting to know the name of our managing director. When I asked what it was regarding, she said a college had passed our number on because we’re apparently involved in some way, and she needed to talk with the MD. I explained that we’re not a college at all, we don’t engage in surveys or apprenticeships, and that we weren’t interested. Honestly, unsure what her angle was - maybe some kind of money thing - since we’re a private company with no links to any educational institutions.

Today they rang us once more, even after we'd already said we weren't interested in what they were offering. The caller then tried to get the name of our managing director, but we didn't share it. We've ended up blocking the number now.
