Someone called me claiming I had signed up to sponsor books for a charity linked to schools. It sounded pretty convincing since they had info about me and nearby schools. But as soon as I told them I hadn't agreed to that payment, they just ended the call.

I got a call from a woman who, from what others here have mentioned, seems to be the same person. She knew the school and the address, which made it sound believable at first, so I didn’t question her much and just said alright. But I’m certain she’s a con artist. She said she was calling on behalf of some anti-bullying charity about a booklet, but there’s no way my company will be giving her a single penny. I blocked her number straight away and won’t be responding to any more messages because it was obvious she was spinning lies. What a total waste of time.
