What an absolutely dreadful experience I had with a rather unpleasant chap from the 'National Advice Service'. He was probing me for all sorts of personal details, inquiring if I had ever worked in any industry or if I'd ever operated machinery. I made it clear to him that I had no experience with machinery and expressed my frustration with these intrusive nuisance calls. Rather shockingly, he responded with rudeness, insisting it wasn't a nuisance call at all! I found the entire conversation quite distressing and invasive, and when I reiterated how these calls were affecting me, he had the audacity to raise his voice and claim it wasn’t his responsibility! The way he carried on was rather aggressive, so I decided to end the conversation and promptly blocked the number on my iPhone. I'm left feeling quite rattled and invaded in my own home, as these intrusive calls seem to come at all hours, both on my landline and my mobile. It's completely unacceptable!

I've had a couple of calls from this number now. The first one, I didn't pick up, but I did answer on the second attempt. The caller introduced himself as 'Tom' from the 'National Advice Service'. I was a bit puzzled when I asked which service, and he explained that it was the name of the company, claiming they were updating their records since I apparently had some experience in 'the industry'. I didn't fancy the conversation and decided to cut him off, so I looked up the number here. I’ve since blocked it on my phone. If you’ve got a Samsung Galaxy, just head to settings, then call settings, followed by call rejection and blacklist. Enter the number, hit save, and voilà - no more calls from that number. It's a doddle! I’ve even added 'unknown' and any numbers beginning with 0845 or 0843 to my blacklist as well.
