The caller pretends to be from my energy supplier, they reel off lots of my details (company address, postcode, and even my MPAN number) in an effort to sound genuine. But they speak at a millions miles an hour with an indian accent. All the details they give are publically available (even the meter MPAN number), so don't be fooled. They don't have your account number so don't give it to them. When I asked them to prove they were who they say they were by asking for our account number they make stupid excuses. Major scam trying to get you to hand over financial information or agree to a switch. They are so persistent that they ring back on different numbers immediately, sometimes several times a day. What makes them think they can change my mind when I already tell them it's a scam. Morons.
