Today, on 29/08/2024 at about 18:19, I got a call from 01204311937. The bloke speaking had an Asian accent and claimed to represent Perfect Benefits. I told him I wasn’t interested in their offers. He kept insisting I answer his questions, even ordering me to cooperate. I told him to leave me alone. When I refused again, he told me to “answer my question” and wouldn’t take no for an answer. I finally told him to buzz off, and that really set him off. He started shouting rude and abusive things at me.

Heads up, folks! There's a new scam making rounds in the States. They record your call and try to get you saying ‘yes’ or ‘okay’ to loads of questions. Later, they splice those ‘yes’ responses into different offers like loans, PPI claims, or investing in shares. Basically, they trick you into agreeing to things you never actually consented to and hit you with bills or charges. Watch out for it!

Got a call with a polite English accent, said it was from Gowen & Mitchell fraud investigation team and asked for me directly. My wife picked up since I was out, and when she answered some questions, the guy suddenly got rude and refused to give any info before just hanging up. Did some Googling but couldn’t find anything legit about that company. The only thing linking the number was to other scams. Pretty sure it was an attempt to fish out bank info. Marked the number as risky because nobody wants to fall victim to these scams and lose cash.
