Got a call from someone with a heavy accent claiming to be Vodafone, saying I could get a discount on a Vodafone contract I don’t even have. Total scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to sell solar panels. I asked for their website and they gave me www.smartsolarenergy.co.uk, but when I checked it, it just redirected to GoDaddy where you can buy the domain for £395. Told him this and he just ended the call straight away. Before that, I asked how long he’d been with the company, but he dodged the question and asked why it mattered instead. The guy had an Indian accent and sounded really unprofessional, which made it obvious it was a scam. Honestly, these days if someone with an Indian accent rings me, I’m immediately suspicious - not that I want to generalise but from my experience, 99.999% of these calls turn out to be frauds. It’s annoying because it makes me distrust anyone with that kind of accent who phones, even if they’re legit.

This unknown number keeps calling me nonstop even though I’ve blocked it. Whoever it is, they’re really stubborn.

They rang me but dropped the call immediately, didn’t even get the chance to answer. Super sketchy, I wouldn’t bother picking up!!!

Someone rang me pretending to be from Vodafone. When I asked for my account number to check if it was legit, she just said I’d need to pass security checks with her first. Felt dodgy to me, so I wouldn’t bother answering any of her questions.
