Had this happen twice already before noon today. They were talking about some car finance thing, knew my name, where I live and my number, then went straight for my bank info. Proper dodgy, so I've blocked the number!

A guy rang me claiming he was from PCP, trying to chat about car finance. Thing is, I've never even had a driving licence, let alone owned or driven a car, so it made no sense at all. He wouldn't tell me his name or where he got my number from, which was pretty suspicious. This isn’t the first time I’ve had calls like this. I ended up blocking the number, but I’m sure they’ll call me from a different one soon enough - seems to be their trick. Seriously, unless you’re 100% certain they're legit, don’t share any personal info or bank details.
