The voice on the other end was familiar-clearly a pre-recorded message from a woman, going on about some supposed fraudulent activity linked to my Amazon account. It’s worth noting that any legitimate Amazon communication would involve them verifying my identity before discussing anything related to my account-not to mention they’d rarely reach out over the phone anyway. I promptly ended the call and thought it prudent to report this number, but who knows what that will accomplish?
