Got a dodgy call from a number starting with 01198 which I don’t think is even a legit UK code. It was that same recorded female voice I’ve heard before, reading from a script about some fake issue with my Amazon account and a suspicious purchase. If Amazon called, they’d for sure ask me some security questions before spilling any info on my account - if they even call at all. I just ended the call and thought I’d report the number, though not sure if it’ll help. Definitely felt like a scam, so I’d say watch out for this one.

Today, May 27th 2020, I had a call on my mobile. When I picked up, there was a brief 5 second silence, then a recorded voice, a mature chap with a deep, clear tone, said something like “This is HM Customs and Excise - your name has come up related to Tax Fraud. If you want to speak to someone about it, PRESS 1.” Absolutely no way I’d fall for that! This type of call is a serious scam and should definitely be reported to the police. I've blocked the number straight away.
