i actually blocked this number ages ago but it’s still trying to get through, like on 29 march 2021, then again 16 april and 29 june. judging by the comments here, it seems to be a scam, so i’ve marked it as risky. why don’t the phone providers or at least the police just take these numbers out of use? even better would be to track down the people behind it and fine or prosecute them properly.

Got a call about upgrading my EE plan, but the person legit seemed to be reading off a script. It felt kinda dodgy, so I just nicely ended the call. Probably a scam or something.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a mobile provider, talking about an “upgrade offer” or something like that. Honestly not too sure if it was an actual service or just one of those scam calls. The phrasing was weird, like “compare the market upgrades well” or whatever. Definitely suspicious and left me unsure if I should trust it or just hang up straight away.
