5 monthsGot another call on my answerphone from a number beginning 01204 213... ๐ This makes it the third time in just four days! After seeing everyone's comments, I'm definitely blocking it now! ๐คทโ๏ธ5 monthsGot a few calls on my answering machine lately, but no one’s left a message! ๐คทโ๏ธ Over the past four days, I’ve had three different numbers ring me, all beginning with 01204 213… ๐คจ It’s pretty relentless. After seeing what others are saying, I’m just going to block them. I’m not interested in loft insulation or any windows and doors, so no thanks! ๐6 monthsUnbelievable! I'm a clinical therapist working with a patient online this afternoon. I get a call on our private home number reserved for family emergencies. I ask my patient for a muted moment while I attend to it. It's the same number calling (3 times in the past week). I clock it and interrupt 'James'. I tell him I'm in a meeting, and want him to hang up and delete my number from his call sheet. He gets aggressive and reads his script louder and louder. I respond angrily. He starts SHOUTING his script over me. I hang up!!!!!! Make of that what you will.James6 monthsGot a ring from this number but didn’t pick up. I probably get a couple of calls every week from energy companies, really annoying to be honest.6 monthsI got a random call from a guy called Dave who said he was from ‘Windows & Doors Refresh’. He tried to sell me new doors and windows, asking loads of questions about the ones we already have. I just said I was fine with what we’ve got and wasn’t interested in swapping them out. He was really polite about it and ended by thanking me and hoping I had a good day!DaveWindowsRefresh6 monthsR. Soles and Co. keeps ringing me again and again. I’m really thinking about cutting off my landline because it’s just too much. Is there no way to block these pesky nuisance callers? It’s driving me mad!R. SolesCo6 monthsThis bloke called himself James, said he was some energy advisor for my neighbourhood, and asked if I owned the place. I just said no and told him to sod off.James6 monthsI got a call and as soon as I picked up the guy says, “Hi, I’m Dave from windows and doors, how’s it going?” I just said “fine” then told him he sounded like a scammer and hung up straight away. Reading other reviews here, sounds like it’s just some call centre. Feels dodgy to me. Definitely not a good call.Dave6 monthsSome guy said he was Dave from Windows & Doors Refresh and claimed he was doing work around my area’s postcode. I asked him to tell me my postcode right then and there, and he just cut the call straight away. Total waste of time.DaveWindows & Doors Refresh6 monthsGot a call from some automated voice about solar panels, saying they were a local company (number showed Bolton, but I’m in Liverpool). They asked if I knew about the perks of getting them installed, especially with energy costs going up and set to rise even more. I kept saying no, but the machine acted like I was agreeing. Honestly, I reckon someone older would be proper baffled by it. Ended up just hanging up.BoltonLiverpool7 monthsFor the last couple of months, I’ve been getting a handful of calls at odd hours. It’s an automated message from a voice named Jo about supposed government energy grants. These numbers, along with a few others like them, seem to be bought commercially and don’t belong to legitimate companies. I’ve just signed up with the Telephone Preference Service to put an end to these, and I recommend you do that too. It’s free, really simple to sort out on the internet, and callers can face hefty penalties if they keep at it.JoTelephone Preference Service7 monthsGot a call about loft insulation the other day. They said they were doing surveys because of some new law or regulation. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.7 monthsI chose not to pick up as it seemed to be from the Bolton region, and from what I’ve gathered, numbers like this one are often linked to scammers using all sorts of excuses.Bolton7 monthsWas trying to sell energy stuff, but as soon as I mentioned I didn’t own the place, they just hung up on me.7 monthsI got a phone call from someone saying my loft insulation wasn’t up to scratch and that most of the neighbours had already had an inspection. It felt a bit dodgy to me, didn’t really trust it.7 monthsGot a voicemail from James, an energy guy supposedly from Bolton, which is ages from my place in Bedfordshire. I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, so he left a message. Problem is, my dodgy old answer phone stopped recording halfway through his message, so no idea what the call was actually about. Pretty sure it was just a scam though, so I’ve already put his number on the blacklist.JamesBoltonBedfordshireSubmit Your Own Report (01204 213589)
