I keep receiving calls from Carphone Warehouse, even though I have no dealings with them, and my contract isn't due for renewal. The caller had a distinctly Asian accent and it seems countless others are mentioning similar experiences with this number on various consumer forums. How on earth did they obtain my details from the Telephone Preference Service? What's the purpose of having the TPS, Action Fraud, and all these email reporting avenues if they don’t seem to do a thing about these scams?
