4 monthsThese calls are coming from scammers based in India.India2 yearsSo I rang the number the next day, and it was answered by a really nice pair who run a guesthouse in Bolton. They weren’t behind any suspicious calls themselves (makes no sense why they’d do that). Turns out loads of other people had contacted them recently, saying this number had called them first. Poor folks, sounds like scammers might have copied their number. I told them to get in touch with their phone provider to sort it out.Bolton2 yearsI’m rather sceptical about that call purportedly coming from O2; it struck me as a bit dodgy, to be honest. The chap was probing for details about my O2 contract, but the irony is, I don’t even have one! Definitely gave me the feeling it might be a scam.2 yearsMost defo a scam with these phone contract people. At first, they claimed to be from 02, but then some supervisor comes in saying they’re from Talk Mobile instead. They kept pushing me to send over a code via text. Very dodgy.AbsoluteTalk Mobile2 yearsWithout a moment’s pause, I promptly added this nuisance number to my blocklist.2 yearsO2 told me the calls and texts were connected, and it was definitely a scam. Total SCAMMERS.O22 yearsTotal scam, they keep ringing to trick you into handing over your PAC code. Don’t fall for it, stay well clear. It’s just fraud trying to steal from you!2 yearsI didnt answer but I think it was one of those O2 scam calls again. They keep ringing me trying to trick me into giving them the OTP. What they do is hit the Forgot Password option on your account and then try to steal the code so they can get into your O2 account and go on a spending binge. If you see a number you dont know, best to just let it ring out. And please, never ever share your OTP with anyone.2 yearsJust got a call, total scam yeah.2 yearsGot a message saying my contract was overdue, then just got a call from that same number. Heard others getting the same scam call about overdue contracts too. Pretty sure that text I got was dodgy as well. I'm ringing O2 right now to check.2 yearsPretty average guy, seemed quite friendly.2 yearsSaw the unknown caller but kept my phone on silent and didn’t pick up. After seeing what others said, decided to just block the number instead.2 yearsJust got my new phone and already some idiots calling saying they're from o2 and offering a sim-only deal, totally not what my new contract is about. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Seriously, steer well clear of these lot!2 yearsJust got a call from someone saying they were from O2, telling me my contract was past due. Pretty obvious it was a scam, so I told him straight away. He hung up after that.2 yearsThey rang me twice today, but I didn’t pick up since I didn't know the number. Just blocked them now!2 yearsSince the number wasn't familiar, I chose not to pick up on my TPS registered phone. Bit of a pity really, I was kinda looking forward to pretending not to speak English and wasting their time once I guessed they were scammers.2 yearsGot a call saying my “O2 contract” had ended but the details they gave were totally wrong. Didn’t trust it and just put the phone down straight away, felt like a total scam.2 yearsSome bloke rang me saying he was from O2 and that I’d missed paying my contract or something. I told him he was a scammer and to stop wasting my time, then he just hung up on me.2 yearsSounds like it was a call from a phone company, but I really don’t think she was from Bolton. The accent didn’t match at all, seemed more like it was from India or somewhere similar.BoltonIndia2 yearsGot a call today from someone claiming to be from O2. Decided to look up the number and it showed up as a phone scam. Hung up straight away and blocked the number.2 yearsI didn’t pick up cause I didn’t know the number.2 yearsbelieve it's a scam2 yearsGot a call from a number in the UK I don't recognise and it might be dodgy.
