I've been receiving frequent calls on my mobile from a number claiming to be Goodwin Barrett, supposedly following up on an accident I supposedly reported. When I mentioned that I had no recollection of them, the caller insisted that I must remember since I contacted them two years ago about this alleged incident. At that moment, I had enough and ended the call. Just four minutes later, I received another call, this time from a person named Tina, but I decided to disconnect again. It's been a quarter of an hour now without any further attempts to reach me. Quite a strange situation, isn't it?

I didn’t let the phone go to voicemail and answered instead, which was a bit of a slip up. The person on the line was asking for ##########, someone by that name. Kind of freaked me out how they seemed so sure about the subscriber. I said no they’d got the wrong number, and asked who was speaking. He said it wasn’t important. I pushed and he said his name was Danny, speaking quickly in some kind of mixed accent - maybe Irish or something in between. I ended the call straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam.
