FRAUDULENT CALL - I received a rather alarming automated message claiming to be from HMRC, stating that there’s a tax fraud investigation against me. It threatened that unless I pressed '1' to speak to an actual HMRC representative, an arrest warrant would be activated without delay. I’ve promptly reported this to the ICO.org.uk.

I recently received a dodgy call - a pre-recorded message claiming to be from HMRC. It mentioned something about a supposed fraud investigation tied to my taxes, warning that if I didn’t press ‘1’ to get in touch with HMRC, a warrant for my arrest would be issued right away! I've gone ahead and reported this to the ICO at ico.org.uk. What a nerve!
