Why not just answer the phone and hear them out instead of just pretending you don’t? Tell them right away you’re not interested and ask them to stop calling. Sites like this make life harder for genuine telesales people because some muppets just assume it's all scams. Honestly, this kind of rubbish attitude doesn't help anyone.

I checked on vodafone.ie and it says it’s Vodafone calling, but loads of folks reckon it’s a scam pretending to be them. Honestly, the smartest move is to just ignore it and block the call. Last summer, I got a call from a woman claiming to be Vodafone customer service (she even knew my name!!!) saying she had some amazing offers for me. I was young and naive enough to confirm my name and address, but when she tried to push a contract on me and asked for my bank info, I told her I was happy with pay-as-you-go top-ups and didn’t want any contract. After that, she became really pushy, kept insisting a contract was a great deal and that I’d save loads of money. I got fed up and firmly said NO. She then said “Okay, we’ll call you again in a year” and hung up. Now, they're blowing up my phone multiple times a day, so I finally looked up the number online. When I saw it was a scam, I didn’t hesitate and blocked them immediately.

I got a call from this number too. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone and said they had some questions for me, so I didn’t hang up right away. The very first thing they asked was to confirm my full name and address, and that’s when I smelled a rat. I just said no, and right after, they started babbling nonsense and then abruptly ended the call. Pretty obvious scam.
