5 yearsGot a call today from b.a.m land drainage on 15th Feb 2021. They claimed I'd taken out a policy with them a couple of years ago and said I needed to renew it for £150. I told them I didn't recall any of this and asked for more info. They said they had my card details but wanted to verify them. I said I'd look into it and ring back, but I had a feeling it was dodgy. The number they rang from was 01202932130. I'd strongly advise not to ring it back or you might end up losing money.B. A. M Land Drainage5 yearsThe caller never introduced himself and said I supposedly bought some drainage cover insurance from B.A.M about two years back. He asked me to verify my card info for a final payment. When I asked for proof that I had agreed to anything with them before, he wouldn’t provide any confirmation. The moment I got a bit more suspicious and asked direct questions, he just hung up. B.A.M do have a proper website and look genuine, but honestly, I reckon it’s a scam.B. A. M6 yearsI forked out £220 for a drainage insurance plan - supposedly their best deal for top-notch protection. When my outside drains got flooded, I gave them a call. Within 48 hours, someone showed up and used some sort of camera and pole (I wasn’t quite sure how it worked). The next day, another person returned and fiddled about with it. Honestly, no clue what they did but everything was flowing perfectly again! Definitely sticking with this cover, especially for the winter months!6 yearsMy elderly neighbour got a call from some random number and ended up giving them her credit card info to pay £250 for what they said was the last payment on an insurance for her drains. Thing is, she never took out any such policy or agreed to it. Definitely a con.6 yearsGot a call saying my boiler cover contract was halfway done, then they hit me with a £150 fee to cancel or £250 to keep it going. It was from Bam Solutions, I think!6 yearsGot a call about a boiler payment, not sure what it was about.6 yearsAbout six weeks ago, I rang them because my plumbing and drainage services with another company were due for renewal. Later on, I had a blocked toilet and gave them a call. They sent an engineer out who sorted it out properly. I’ve got nothing but good things to say about how they handled it.6 yearsJust got a call from someone saying they're from BAM Drainage, insisting we'd signed up to a policy with them two years ago. They even had some credit card info, which freaked me out a bit. But after checking, the company was only set up in March 2020, so it’s pretty fishy. Seemed really professional and calm on the phone, but definitely a dodgy scam.Bam Drainage6 yearsthere’s a firm hassling my grandad, who’s older, to cough up for ending a policy he never even signed up for. it’s really not on.6 yearsGot a phone call about paying insurance for some white goods I never actually signed up for.Submit Your Own Report (01202 932130)
