Got calls from these people saying they're from some government pension thing. They come across all polite and professional, like they're in a packed office or summat. Definitely don't believe a word they say, feels fishy to me!

Got a call from someone who already knew my first name, then they started talking about some frozen pension. I told them I don’t have one. Then they mentioned a firm called Venus, which I’ve never come across. They didn’t say which company they were representing and sounded really uninterested, like they probably don’t get much success with these calls. Honestly, they’d do better finding a proper job.

Got a call again for the second day running, but no one said a word when I answered. Feels like they’re just confirming if the number is active before they ring back from a different fake one to push some rubbish. Didn't ask for it at all, and I'm on the TPS list too. If I manage to find out who they are, I’ll be reporting them to the ICO for sure.

Had a call from someone claiming to offer a pension review, saying they had done one with me a few years back - which I never have. I told them I wasn't interested, and then they started pestering me about why I wasn’t, saying it was about my pension so I should care. When I asked who they were working for, they kept dodging the question. I said I wanted to know because I was planning to report the call, and that’s when they just hung up on me.

I got a call about my pension, they said it was time for a pension review or something like that. Quite random, really.

This number just rang me, and honestly, it's better if you don’t bother replying to it.

Got a call from someone who somehow had my name and even my address and postcode. They were all about helping me track down my pension but I told them I was busy. I ended up giving them a fake phone number and email. They said they’d ring my mobile tomorrow and said it was really important I pick up to sort out the pension stuff.

Got two calls in just two days about pensions. When I asked a few questions, the caller got dodgy and quickly ended the call.

I picked up the phone and said hello, but there was nobody there, then the call just ended. They've been ringing me quite a bit lately, so I think I'm gonna block the number.

I picked up and they ask if it was me. I said yeah, then just hung up after. Kinda worried they might be trying to record my voice for some kind of scam with voice recognition or something.

They ring me pretty much every week about some private pension, which I find super annoying. Honestly, if it was legit, they’d have figured out by now that the cost of all these calls isn’t making them any money from me lol. Feels more like a scam to me.

Got a call where they used my name and said it was about a pension review from 2018. I asked them who they were and they said ‘Pension Performance Service’ - but searching that name online turned up nothing useful at all. The bloke on the phone seemed kinda annoyed and a bit annoyed when I politely told him I wasn't interested in whatever they were selling. Definitely felt like a dodgy sales call.

They called and immediately used my first name, going on and on about pensions or something. When my husband picked up the phone the next time, they just went quiet and hung up after he said I wasn’t available.

Got a call from someone saying they're a pension expert and used my first name right away. Then they started talking about a pension I don’t even own. They asked about any other pensions I might have, which seemed odd. Feels like they’re just trying to set up a sales visit to push some dodgy deal. I’d steer clear of this one.

He started calling me by my first name, muttering something about pension stuff and then quickly tried to confirm my old postcode. I told him that wasn’t right, and he asked if I still lived at the old place. I said no and just ended the call. The postcode he used was from my old house, which I left over two years ago - bit out of date, mate. Blocked the number straight away.

they ring me almost daily, sometimes even 8 times each week!

Got a call about pensions, they knew my first name and were trying to fish out personal info. I cut them off and blocked the number straight away. Definitely a phishing scam.

They claimed to be ringing about my HSBC pension from a couple of years back and wanted me to confirm my address and postcode. Sounded pretty convincing at first. Thing is, I've never had an account with HSBC! When I asked who they were, their answer was all unclear and then they just went on about discussing my pension. I told them straight up that it wasn't their business and if they called again, I'd report them to the cops. Bit unsettling, to be honest.

Got a call earlier but couldn’t pick up. Tried ringing back but no one picked up.

Got a call from this number and they wanted to chat, using my first name. They started asking about my pension, but I told them someone had already contacted me about that recently. There was loads of noise in the background, not like a normal call centre, more like kids playing or something. They kept pressing about the cash I’d moved from an old job pension and what I'd get when I retire. After all their questions, I just ended the call and blocked the number.
