I’ve been bombarded over the past week with a barrage of calls, two or three each day. Every time I pick up, it’s just that aggravating silence of an autodialler, so I typically end up hanging up. However, I decided to stay on the line one time and discovered it was The Carphone Warehouse pestering me about upgrading my phone, claiming my contract lapsed a few months back. Honestly, I'm not in the market for an upgrade right now. I’m with O2 already and had to block their number for the very same reason.
