Got a robocall about unauthorised transactions on my account - like, what account even? - telling me to press 1. I hung up, then quickly dialled 1471 to check the number, but I didn't hang up long enough and it was still connected when I pressed 1. The automated message said “please hold as we connect you”, which instantly made me hang up hard and wait a bit longer before doing anything else.
