He tried to convince me it wasnt a sales pitch but then went on about needing to sort out some accident claim i was allegedly involved in. I told him flat out i dont even drive, so clearly just a sales call in disguise. Ended up blocking the number. Honestly, wouldnt have picked up if it wasnt showing as a local Bournemouth number.

Got a call saying I was involved in an accident a few years ago and could claim some compensation. I've never had any accident like that, so I told them to delete my info from their database.

someone rang my mum's phone asking for me. she was quite blunt.

Someone rang up asking for my sister, but this is my number. When I told them, they just said "we'll try again later" and hung up before I could ask them to take my number off their list. I've blocked them now.

Someone rang me, asked for me by name. When I wanted to know what it was about, they dodged the question. Claimed to be from AMS or something, said my number was given to them about a recent accident I was in. I just ended the call. Never had any accident, so pretty obvious it was a scam call trying to fish for info from some compensation claims company.

I didn’t pick up cause I didn’t recognise the number. For me, if it’s urgent, they’ll leave a voicemail. When I rang back, it was just tunes playing, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

they rang my mum today and my dad died less than a week ago. when she told them this, the caller just kept going on about accident claims. mum asked them to take her number off their list and never call again, but the idiot on the phone asked why. i grabbed the phone off mum and told them my dad had just passed away and it was really cruel to keep pushing after we asked them to stop calling. then the caller started arguing with me so i just hung up. proper disgustin behaviour.
