Got a call from Glow Green about an online enquiry I made after seeing their leaflet. When they gave me a quote over the phone, it was twice what I’d seen online, which was confusing as the job was pretty straightforward. The guy couldn’t really explain the price jump. Plus, I mentioned my flat supposedly has no VAT till 2027, but their quote still had VAT added on. He said he’d look into my questions and get back to me by email, but I’m still waiting.

For me, their offer was definitely the best, even more affordable than others who didn’t have the 0% finance option, which I wasn’t expecting. They fitted the boiler and I’m really pleased with how everything went.

Glow Green Ltd sounded legit, they offer boilers with 0% finance. But here’s the thing - the prices for the boilers are jacked up so much they don’t actually need to add finance fees. Plus, the call was totally random. I filled out a form online last night to find a plumber for a small boiler fix. To be clear, I don’t need nor want a new boiler, yet this morning I get a call from a place that only installs boilers. My number is on the TPS register, and I never agreed for it to be used like this. I’ll be reporting this to the ICO and Ofcom about these annoying calls.
